Search is meant for quickly surfacing items from your apps and knowledge bases. Find emails, files, events, pages, and everything in between in milliseconds.

Search is inherently different from chat in that it is faster and does not involve an LLM.


The search method will automatically be adjusted based on the amount of words in your query.

For single-word searches, keyword search is always used. For multi-word queries, where semantic meaning is more suitable, semantic search is always used.

Three additional filters are available:

  1. Sources

    • Pick which apps to search through
    • By default, searches will be performed on all data from connected apps

  2. Date Range

    • Pick an interval to filter searches with

  3. Inboxes

    • Pick which inboxes to search through
    • By default, searches will be performed on all data from connected inboxes

Optimization

Tips for getting better results:

  • Do not structure search queries like questions, these are better suited for chat
  • If you’re already thinking of a specific item, keyword search will be faster; keyword searches are on average ~500ms quicker
